Once liquid has been absorbed, hydrophobic barriers along the edges of the pad help to prevent liquid reaching your bedding, whilst a waterproof backing prevents leakage from the bottom - even under pressure. This makes Vivactive Bed Pads an ideal solution for beds, chairs and wheelchairs, as well as other soft furnishings.

Vivactive Bed Pads Maxi have an absorbency of up to 2500ml, twice the amount of some other bed pads. This is because the length of the fibres in the "fluffy" part of the pad are three times longer than in some other bed pads, allowing the pad to hold more liquid.
